Stanly County celebrates it's very own local playwright, Mr. Mark Cook. Mark is a retired English teacher and had his play The Codgerella, produced by the Uwharrie Players in the fall of 2013.

For the finest in Visual Arts, contact the Stanly Arts Guild. The Arts Guild is a collective group of painters, potters, photographers, wood carvers, jewelry makers, and more!  They are located in their new location at 330-C  North Second St., Albemarle, NC 28001. Call 704-983-4278.
